こんばんは。みなさん元気ですか。今晩には日本語の勉強部と勉強します。　明日、日本の期末試験があります。友達の家で五人います。たくさんおいしい食べ物があって、コーヒーを飲んで、音楽ヲ聞きます。友達と勉強するの方が自分でよりむしろらくです。食べ物はおいしいことはおいしいけど、いまおんかがいたいです。　でも何１０人ももっと大変だと思います。勉強する前に長い昼寝をしました。それから、長すぎったから、みなさんがまちしまいました。でもだいじょぶです。いいせいせきをもらうほしんです。日本の大学できまつしけんがあろますか。アメリカで全部の習ったの物はテストの中があります。とてもむずかしです。このごろきんちょうします。みなさんは？クラスはどう。

☆winter holiday☆

Hi, everyone!
This will be a last post because second semester finish in January.
Today, I’m going to write about my holiday plan of this winter.
From December 21st to January 10th are winter holiday in my university.
I want to meet my boyfriend on Christmas day, but I will not because he has to work on this day. So I work my part time job with my friends. I really feel sad but I promise with him that we date on December 23rd and go to a famous spot of illumination in Japan. I look forward to come this day!
At the end of this year I will see the old year out and the New Year in with my family. In Japan, a famous music TV called ‘Kouhaku’ is aired on every New Year’s Eve. I watch this every year with eating the buckwheat noodles for celebrating New Year. I like it very much!! And in my hometown, fireworks are shot up in the sky at mid-night every year. I look forward to see it!!
By the way, yesterday was my birthday!! I turned 20. ^^♪
I can’t believe that I am 20. My boyfriend gave me a necklace and I was surprised at that he prepared a birthday cake with strawberry. Hitomi and Ayumi also congratulated by e-mail. I was very happy!! I really thanked for all my friend and family.
This will be a last blog. I hope you will spend wonderful time with your family or friend on Christmas and New Year!!

　みなさん、こんにちは！どんな毎日を送っていますか？学校楽しんでいますか？

今回で、授業でのこのブログ作成は終わりです。短い間でしたけど、楽しむことができました。たくさんのこと知ることできました。興味深いたくさんの情報ありがとうございます。授業が終わってもまた時間がある時にこのブログを開きたいと思っているので、みなさんまた時間があれば開いてください。また一緒にやりましょう。

　ブログにのせる最後のトピックに私は自分の将来について書きたいと思います。私は国際コミュニケーション学科で、今学校で英語を勉強しています。私は英語が好きです。洋楽を聞くことも、洋画をみることも大好きです。将来は英語を使う仕事につきたいと考えています。いろいろ悩んだけれど、自分の性格から考えて、秘書がいいのではないかと思いました。私は書類の整理とかスケジュール管理などが好きだからです。秘書になって、英語を使いながらばりばりと働きたいと思います。仕事を何年かした後には結婚し、子供を産みたいです。たくさんほしいです。そして子供の面倒をみるのが落ち着いてきたころ、ホームティーチャーをしたいと考えています。なぜなら私は英語と子供がすきだからです。ホームティーチャーとは、子供たちに家で英語を教える小さい教室です。そのためにも今はバイトを、かえて、来年から気持ちをいれかえて、新しいバイトをスタートしたいと思っています。

　毎日の生活の中で、私は大切なことに気づきました。それは毎日を大切にすごし、楽しむこと、生きていることを喜ぶことが一番であるということです。忙しいこと、苦しいことがあっても、絶対に前に進めると信じているので、その苦難なことさえ喜んで、充実した毎日を送りたいと思います。みなさんも夢にむかってがんばってください。

　みなさん、これからも大学生活を楽しんでください。今しかできないことも挑戦したほうがいいと思います。椙山大学２年、あゆみでした。今までありがとうございました。楽しかったです。

international and future

Hi. How are you everyone? I am going to Australia next spring to study English about for 5weeks. I've joined in the school last summer and I like there. But it is in Canberra. It's hard to go there from Japan. I've never got airplane alone. I am really worry that. My boyfriend is also there. He is 23 years old Korean man and study English. I met him last summer in UC. I thought he is just so nice. Do you know Korean custom or nationality? They are so kind to women and show their love very clearly and honestly. It is very different Japanese and Korean. I knew it and he is also a man kind of that. I haven't met him since I left AUS. We communicate with e-mail, call and movie camera. I think it is difficult international love because we have different thinking, language and custom. He doesn’t speak Japanese. We speak English to communicate. It is so difficult. I want to love his personality but I don't know it is his personality or nationality. Recently I think that I don't know about him anything. And also he doesn't know about real me? I want to see him but our distance is so far. I have to go to long trip to see him. It is hard to even see him. If I speak Korean or he speaks Japanese, it'll be easier to be with. Well. What do you think international love?

And do you have any dream? What do you want to be?
I have to start job hunting next year, but I haven't decided what I want><

期末試験

みなさんこんにちは！
まず最近ブログを書かなくてごめんなさい！本当に忙しかったんです
でも。。
来週期末試験があります！この学期、学校とバイトのことを大変です。でもすぐ終わるからもう少し頑張らなくちゃいけません！また来学期は日本で日本語を勉強するためにバイトももう少し頑張ります！お金が必要ですね。
僕は期末試験を５つありますけど、ひとつは水曜日に受けます。MSUの学生は期末試験を心配してるから、よく勉強しています。今晩僕は５時間ぐらい勉強していました。日本の大学のシステムはちょっと違うそうですけど本当ですか？期末試験がありますか？
期末試験を終わってから、早速日本に行くことをじゅんびをします！彦根で勉強する前に日本に着いてすぐ沖縄へ行きます！そして東京で年越しをします！また日本で日本語を話すのをとても楽しみにしています！みなさん、おすすめの場所はありますか？？

Christmas

Christmas is coming very soon and many Americans are spending lot of money! Christmas is a very big holiday in America. It is bigger than New Years! Almost everyone in America celebrates Christmas.

Do you know the story of Christmas? December 25 is when Jesus Christ was born, so Christmas is like a big birthday party! Many people who are not Christians celebrate Christmas as a time to spend with their families. Almost everyone has a Christmas tree in their home. I have a mini tree in my apartment!! Another part of Christmas is the presents. It is to represent the presents that were given to Jesus when he was born. But now in America, most people don't think about Jesus or family, they just think about the presents. It's very sad. Many people will give someone a present just to give them something and they may not even want it. It sounds very nice to give someone a present, but it's sad because most people don't take the time to find gifts their family or friends actually would like. Many people feel obligated to give something

For most of my family, I don't give or receive presents. I don't have very much money but also because I don't like to buy things they may not like. So instead I make food for my family, and bring desserts to share! That way I can show that I care about my family without buying them something they will not use. For my boyfriend and my mom I like to buy them presents to thank them for being in my life and always being supportive.

Food!

Hello, everyone! How are you? Today, we talked about various foods in Suzanne class. It was really interesting, but I wanted to eat something when I take the class. I was absolutely starving! This morning, I ate bread and drink tea. I was full, but I became hungry soon. I become always hungry. I eat food three times a day, but I want to eat food four times a day. Maybe it is enough for me. Before dinner, I'm always hungry, so I eat snacks. I eat snacks so much, so sometimes I can't eat dinner. What is your favorite food? My favorite food is Suchi! It is really delicious! Have you ever tried it? If you have never tried it, please try! Especially, I like shrimp of suchi! I think that suchi is really good for our health! If I eat suchi too much, I won't get fat, so it is also good for people who be on a diet! In Japan, suchi is really famous and the taste of suchi in Japan is really good! If you come to Japan, please try! By the way, I like chocolate very much! I eat this every day! I can't live without chocolate! Especially I like "Kit Kat". I love it! Do you like chocolate?

Hello, how are you？
We learned about food in the class today.　It 's interesting topic^^　I felt hungry. I really like to eat.
So I am always on a diet. It is hard for me. When I was a high school student, I lost 8kg.
I loved the body then. Maybe I was too skinny and look not healthy. It is not good but most Japanese are too skinny. But it is usual for us, so I have to be skinny.
Have you ever eaten Japanese food? Do you like Japanese food? I really like Japanese food because it is delicious and good for health. My favorite Japanese food is Sushi. Maybe you know Sushi. It is really delicious. But I think little different Japanese Sushi and American Sushi. For example, California roll. Actually it is American food, I think. I like it. And I think you don’t eat ill, don’t you? Maybe you think it is strange and scary to eat. No, it is really delicious. Please try it sometime. I know you will like it.
We often eat Yakizakana (grilled fish). I eat it every day. It is really easy to make, just grilled^^ It is also good for our born and brain.
I have one question. It is usually to eat curry in home. But I think American doesn’t eat curry so often. Do you eat it?
Do you have any unusual American food? I like American food. It is really big everything!

Japanese Foods

Hi, everyone!
I write about Japanese foods. Have you ever eaten them? And what Japanese foods do you like?
My favorite one is Sushi. I love raw fish and sushi. I often go to sushi bar with my family. When I was child, I love shrimps and I always ate them when we went to sushi bar. I always ordered it and even eat my parent’s and brother’s. But, when I was 10, I got an allergy of shrimps!! I was shocked and have never eaten them.
I also like salmon roe. Have you ever eaten before? These are eggs of salmon. Maybe you can eat at sushi bar. ^^
I also recommend eel. Maybe you know I work my part time job at eel restaurant.
I can eat a bowl of rice and broiled eel twice a month for free. The fervor is so nice and taste is so good!! If you haven’t eaten it, you should try to eat!!
I think many people don’t like Nattou and seaweed. Do you like them? Especially Japanese dislike Nattou, too because it smells bad and slimy. But it is good for our health, so you should eat if you can.
We often make miso-soup with seaweed. I love miso-soup with seaweed but my foreign friends don’t like it. I don’t know why but she never eats and tells me why. Do you know why she dislikes it? Please tell me. ^^

Thanksgiving

Hi everyone!
Thanksgiving was last week and it was nice having a break from school. I went to my step-mom's parent's house to visit my family. Typically you eat turkey for thanksgiving but my dad doesn't like turkey so we had chicken. The food was pretty good! I miss my family.
I think it is strange how we all celebrate different holidays. Do you have certain holidays you enjoy?

I wanted to write about american fashion but I realized I don't follow it! I like to combine a bunch of styles together so I wear what I'm comfortable with. In america, it's common now for big, baggy sweaters but I think they look silly on me so I often don't wear what is popular.However I do like to wear skinny jeans which are still popular. Many girls in the U.S. like these boots called "UGG" boots, but I think they look horrible so I don't wear them despite their popularity. Do you follow fashion trends? What is your favorite kind of fashion?

日本のファッション♪

今日は日本のファッションについて書きたいと思います。
今，アメリカではどんなファッションがはやっていますか？
私は，今週授業をかぜで休んだので，どんな授業をしたのかはわかりませんが，HitomiとAyumiの日記にも書いてある通り，ブーティとカラータイツは今とても流行りです。
学校では，ブーティを履いている子や，カラータイツをはいている子を毎日のように見ます。
私の友達もたまにカラータイツをはいています。すごく可愛いと思うし，おしゃれだなって思うけど，結構派手に見えるのでなかなかはいていく自信はありません。
今年のスタイルとして，パンクやアウトドアちっくな格好が流行っています。
アウトドアと言っても，モコモコの素材の服にムートンブーツやニット帽子などを取り入れて，とても可愛いファッションスタイルに見せます。
あと去年からライダースジャケットも流行って，今年もまだはやっています。
私はよくパンツスタイルなのですが，今は結構スカートをはくようになりました。
今年はパンツより，スカートをいっぱい買っていると思います。
よく雑誌で，ParisやNicoleのファッションを見るけど，彼女たちも日本で流行っているような格好をしています。そっちでも日本と同じようなスタイルが流行っていますか？

みなさんこんにちは。元気ですか？　せん週にテンクギビングズ(Thanksgiving)という休むです。この休むが家族と友達に食べて、神様に全部の物にもらうからどうもうありがとうございますと言ます。　私のおばあさんの家に行きました。父が違うの州立に住んでいますから、この休むがせっかく家族をみます。おばあさんはたくさんおいしい食べ物作りました。例えばターキやグリンズや色々なケーキができます。たいてい寝るの服をきて、家族と友達に会って、全部の日に食べます。これからアメリカ人がふとってになります。でも昔々の意味はとても違います。むかし、ピルグルズムがふんでアメリカにじょうりくしました。この時は冬からせいかくがむりです。それから、ピルグルズムはどろぼうになりました。インデアンの家に入られて、たくさんの物をぬすみました。やっぱり、ピルグルズムはきたないからインデアンが病死しました。巨万インデアンは死にました。このれきしはめっちゃ悲しいだと思います。でも心配しないで下さい。にほんでもひとしいのれきしと休むがありますか？

ファッションについて

こんにちは。みなさん元気ですか？私は風邪をひいてしまいました・・。ここだけの話、yoshikoの風邪がうつったんです＞＜　yoshikoには内緒ですよ＾＾笑
今日は、ファッションについて話をしたので、ファッションについて書きますね。
今、日本ではブーティーとカラータイツが特に流行っています。ブーティーはとても短いブーツのことです。私はブーティーは組み合わせもバランスも難しいと思うので、好きではありません。カラータイツはその通り、カラーのタイツのことです。日本では冬には黒のタイツを履く人がよくいます。私たちの中学、高校でも制服と履いていました。制服にタイツを履くの学校はあまりなかったので、珍しがられたこともありますが、制服にもとても合い、かわいいですよ。
今、流行っているカラータイツは本当にいろんな色があって、赤や黄色や緑、青など、すごく個性的な子と思われるような色も流行っています。女の子から見たら可愛いのかもしれませんが、男の子には受け入れられないと思います。私も組み合わせによっては可愛いと思うけれど、おかしいと思う人もいるので自分は履く勇気はありません＞＜

日本とそちらでは服の文化がとても違うと思います。
日本では学校に高いヒールを履いてくることも普通ですが、そちらではどうですか？

今日は授業中に、ファッションのことについて学びました。みなさんはファッションに興味がありますか？最近日本では、若い人たちの間で、短いブーツと、カラータイツが人気です。そちらではどうですか？はやっていますか？私は今年カラータイツは買っていません。暗い色がすきなので、いつも黒や茶色、カーキの服を着ていることが多いです。なのでカラータイツは買いません。でも赤も好きなのでたまには赤の服も来ます。アクセサリーはいつも必ず身につけています。
私はジーンズが好きなので、よくはいています。でも、日本ではワンピースを着ている女性がたくさんいます。男性はジーンズが多いです。みなさんはファッションにこだわっていますか？
日本ではとても短いスカートをはいてる高校生がよくいますが、そちらの国でもそうですか？
女性は化粧もすると思います。だいたいの日本女性は化粧をして学校へいきます。高校生さえ化粧をして学校へいくので、これもまた、スカートが短すぎるという問題と同じで、高校で問題になっています。
日本のファッションに興味がありますか？今日先生が日本のファッションのサイトを教えてくれたので、のせます。よければみてみてください。

初デート

皆さんこんにちは。
今日は授業で初デートについての勉強をしました。
どこの国でも同じでしょうが、初めてのデートはとても緊張するし、いろいろ気を使いますよね。
私は初めてのデートには、まずどんな服を着ていくか迷います。
相手の好みであったり、デートの雰囲気や、いろいろなことに気を使って服選びをします。
皆さんは初デートでどこに行きたいですか？
私は、水族館がいいなって思います。お魚は可愛いし、いるかのショーやアシカのショーなど、いっぱい盛り上がれるイベントもあるので、グッと雰囲気がよくなると思います。
あとSuzanneが、水族館は暗くてカップルらしい雰囲気が出やすいって言ってました。
初デートではないけれど、今度水族館に行ってみようと思います。

初デート♪

みなさん、こんにちは。数日前から日本はすごく寒くなってきて、今年初めてのコートを今日着ました。
今日は授業で初めてのデートについて勉強したのですが、すごく楽しかったのでそのことについて書こうと思います＾＾ある国では初デートに家族をつれていくんだそうです！これには驚きますよね！
私は女子校に中学から通っているので、男の子と遊ぶということが全然ないのでデートなんていったらものすごく緊張してしまいます。着る服や髪型やバッグ、靴まで全て数日前から考えて準備してしまうほどです。男の子と話をすることも慣れていないので、話題も考えて用意してしまいます。＾＾
私は初デートでは男の人にたくさん話しをしてほしいです。自分があまり話せないので、私のことについて質問してきたり、自分のことを話してくれると助かります。でも自分のことばかり話す人は自己中心な感じがするので、好きではありません。特に興味のない話だったりスポーツとかよくわからない話題をされるとつまらないです。それと、あまりにもペラペラ話す人は軽い感じがするので、女の子に慣れているのかな？なんて思ってしまったりもします。あと、あまりプライベートなことをたくさん聞かれるのもいやです。まだ初デートなのである程度距離を保ってほしいです。ですから、もちろんキスなんてダメです。手に触られるのも少し抵抗を感じます。
先生がデートのお別れのときにぼーっと立っていると男の子は「キスしていいのかな？」と思ってキスしてくるよ、と言っていました。何もしてほしくなければ「楽しかったよ。ありがとう。」と握手をして別れなければいけないそうです。日本で、もしもいきなりキスしてきたら大変なことになります。心に傷をおっちゃう子もいるはずです。日本ではお別れのときにぼーっとしていても「キスしていいよ」という意味ではないので気をつけてくださいね＾＾

それと、初デートのときに割り勘（お金の支払いを２人ですること）だと、相手に対するイメージは下がります。これは人それぞれなので何とも言えませんが、女の子の中にはデート代は男の子がすべて払って当たり前と思う子もいるし、割り勘がいい、という女の子もいるのでその子の考え方を知らないといけないですが、最初から割り勘という男の人はありえないです。
みなさんは初デートではどんなことをしますか？＾＾

My first date

Hi! How are you? Today, I talked about first date in my class. It was really interesting :->
Do you remember your first date? Did you have a good time?
Now, I have my boyfriend. I have associated with him for 5 months. I remembered our first date! We met in the city after school. We went to do billiard! I couldn't do that well, but he was really well, so I respected him! He always smiled. I was really happy! After doing that, we went to eat dinner. We went to a Italian restaurant! This place was so good! Atmosphere and taste were really good! We talked about a lot of things each other. At first, I couldn't see his eyes because I'm shy, but when the time passed, I could see him. I was feeling nervous, but I really enjoyed!! At that day, I was more interested in him!!
What shouldn't we talk about on a first date in your country? In Japan, many people think that we shouldn't talk about ourselves too much. It is boring! What do you think about that?
In Japan, many people will go to see a movie on first date! I think that atmosphere is good and we don't need to see each other so much, so we don't feel nervous too much! I want to know your first date! When did you go? What did you do?

みなさん、こにちわ！

食べ物　はとても　おいしかった！！　メンユー　は　せきはん　と　とんじる　と　たきこみごはん　ちらしすし　いなりすし　がありました。一番　おいしい　食べ物　JFF　にあった、　何といっても　とんじるだろう！

ゲーム　もありました。　おにぎり　たべる　コンテスト
があった。　でも、おにぎりはおいしこと　と　おいしくないこと　が 入っていました！！　チョコレト　と　わさび　と　マシュマロ　と　キムチ　がはいていました！！　わたし　は　たべる　コンテスト　しませんでしけど　とても面白かった！
みなさんは日本でアメリカの食べ物　の　しゅくじつ　をしますか？　どんなしゅくじつをしますか？

Hello every one... How are you?.. Yes the United States are very strict with drinking as well. If you go to a bar they always check for your age and if you are to young they draw an X on your hands to show that you are not allowed to drink. If you get caught drinking in the bar they will kick you out. Because if the bar is caught selling to a minor they will b fined a lot of money. And if you are caught drinking under age of 21 the police will write you a ticket and maybe take you to jail for the night. It is very strict in the US, but younger people often drink. It seems that all college parties have alcohol. It can be very dangerous if you drink too much, and some people die from over drinking. Since there are parties 3 days a week peopel are often talking about drinking. However there are more things to do than party and drink. Lately a lot of good movies are coming out ant I looking forward to going to the movies with my friends. What do you guys like to do? What is popular in Japan right now for college students?

アルコール！！

　こんにちは☆☆みなさん元気ですか？私は宿題におわれる毎日です。学校以外でフラダンス（ハワイアンダンス）をならっていて、イベントクラスというものにも入っているので、発表がよくあり、忙しいです。宿題は早く終えてしまいたい性格なのですが、最近は時間がなく、ぎりぎりになってしまうので、時間をうまく使おうと思います。みなさんはどんな毎日をおくっていますか？何か習っていますか？

　今日はアルコールについて授業で話しました。お酒は好きですか？私は一番多くて３杯しか飲んだことがありません。でも強くないお酒ばかりです。１０月の誕生日まで１９歳だったので、飲めなかったのですが。今は２０歳なので日本でも飲めます。
　どんなアルコールが好きですか？先月、ペルーとのハーフの友達とメキシコ料理を食べに行きました。そこでナチョスなどを食べて、テキーラを初めて飲みました。少しだけ飲んだのですがすごく強いお酒でびっくりしました。私はカシスソーダのようなジュースのようなお酒が好きです。おいしいですよね☆たくさんのんで酔うのが怖いので、そんなにたくさんは飲んだことがありません。でも何かおいしいお酒があれば飲んでみようと思います。何かおすすめのお酒はありますか？
　日本では焼酎というお酒があります。私は飲んだことありませんが強いお酒だと思います。焼酎（しょうちゅう）を聞いたことはありますか？
みなさんの国だけのオリジナルのお酒はありますか？
　
　週末は多くの人が外でお酒を飲むので、酔っている人をよくみかけます。たまにしっかり歩かず近づいてくる人がいるので少し怖いです。みなさんは酔ったことがありますか？お酒は体にもあまりよくないみたいなので、あんまり飲まないほうがいいと思います☆飲みすぎには気をつけてくださいね。

We learned about drinking in Suzanne class today. So I will talk about drinking.
Are you enough age to drink? We can drink from 20 years old. In this member, I and Ayumi can drink, but Yoshiko is still 19, so she can’t. Don’t worry, her birthday will coming soon.
However I think many young people who don’t get 20 drinks. I saw junior high school student drink. It is not good>< I don’t drink, I try to drink, but it is not good for me. I think alcohol is not delicious. When I was in AUS, I went to bar with my friends. He ordered a sweet drink for me. “You like sweet, this is for you.” I drank it, it tastes like a chocolate. “This is sweet, thanks” And I drank all…after that, I feel bad. I said to my friend “I feel bad...” and he reply “Of course, this is alcohol.” I didn’t know it was alcohol because taste was sweet and like chocolate. I thought it was chocolate drink. So I don’t like drink. I know if I drink alcohol, I feel bad. I decided to not drink.
But I like white wine. I don’t often drink.　When my father drink it, I try little.　It is delicious.　I think just little white wine is good for me. Actually, my favorite drink is Japanese tea^^ This is good for health. I drink it every meal. I also bring it to UC. I need it in my life.

Hello! Today, I'm going to write about drinking.
In Japan, we can drink when we turn 20.
BUT!! In fact, many younger experiences drinking before 20.
Recently, the rules about drinking are becoming so strict more and more.
There are many problems about younger drinking. Young people don’t have enough body to drink yet and sometimes serious happening happen because of drinking too much.
So, Japan crack down on people who relate with drinking, for example, the master of bar and restaurant staff. They must check customer’s age. If we are demanded to show how old we are, we must show identification paper like driver’s license.
If bars give Sake to younger, they must pay a lot of fine. So, now it isn’t easy to drink for younger.
20 is one of important age because we can do anything as from we turn 20.
I think many younger wait to be 20 for drinking. I’m not 20 yet, but I will turn 20 on December. I’m looking forward to drink with my friends.

Body Language !

Hello! How are you? Today, I want to tell you about body language. In Suzanne class, we learned body language of various countries. I enjoyed very much. Before learning them, I didn't think about body language so much. Have you ever thought about body language of other countries? You will know that body language of your country is sometimes different from it of Japan. I knew that, too. Today, I knew new meaning of body language and I was really surprised. For example, most Japanese girls pat our hair. Do you do that? If I pat my hair in your country, you will think that I like myself. I didn't know that. I was really surprised. I often do that, but there isn't meaning. If I go to your　country, I won't pat hair (>_<) Our countries have body language that show different meanings. It is interesting, isn't it? There is body language in only Japan when we take a picture. Do you see my picture? Look at our hands. We posed. It is peace. You don't do that, do you? In Japan, almost people do that, but I don't know the reason. When I take pictures, I always do that, but I have never thought that why I do this pose. I want to know that! Today, we learned about body language in Suzanne class. There are same meaning body languages Japan and other countries. For example, "Yes" "No" "ok, good" and "I don't know, I don't care" are same body language. But some body languages are not same meaning in Japan and other. I will talk about 1 body language that we surprised!!
Do girls stand and pat her hair in your country? We do it very often in Japan. But this meaning is vanity in other country!! We didn't know this meaning!! It is very usual to pats our hair in Japan. We don't have any meaning of doing that. We do it because to fix our hair style, or just touch. That's all! We are not vanity~>< We pats our hair in train, road, school, when we are talking with our friends....anywhere, anytime. Is it not usual in your country? If you see our act like this, do you think "Japanese girls are so vanity!"?? When we heard this meaning at first time, we all said "Really!?" "Why~?!”"We are not, We are not this meaning."^^ We were so surprised!

Hi, everyone!
Today, I studied about body language in North America and I was surprised at the difference between Japan and North America.
In japan, we often bow when we meet someone. But it is used only when we meet first time, in office or serious scene.I think bow is the most Japanese beautiful culuture. It looks beautiful and feel how japanese take care of other person.I don't bow so much time, only in part timejob. I always wave hand when I meet someone.
But!!! I must bow when I meet Japanese professor^^;
I was surprised at that moving extended index finger from side to side means 'Dont't do that'. In japan, almost parents don't use special gesture when they take notice of their children. They only say 'Stop it!'
I also surprised that tauching hair isn't common acting in the world. Zuzanne said that there are only Japanese girl that always tauch their hair. I really don't care about that. We tauch our hair without notice and it's no meaning. Maybe, I think it is a habite of Japan.

ハロウィン

こんにちは。１１月になって急に寒くなりましたね。
先週の水曜日はハロウィンでしたね。みんないろいろな仮装したり，ハロウィンのお祝いをしたみたいでうらやましいです。日本ではハロウィンという日はあっても，仮装をしたり，友達のお家へお菓子をもらいにいくことはほとんどしません。でも私たちの大学では，食堂で仮装をした人がお菓子をくれました☆先週のスザンヌの授業では，ハロウィンのゲームをいっぱいしました。ハロウィンビンゴでは，私が一番にビンゴになり素敵なプレゼントをもらいました！何だと思いますか？＾＾カナダの靴下をもらっちゃいました！とても嬉しかったです。
ハロウィンと言えば，日本のディズニーランドでは１０月３１日までハロウィンシーズンで，パーク内では仮装をしたスタッフやキャストがいっぱいで，パレードショーではゴースト達がいっぱい出てきて面白かったですよ。写真のせときますね。

　１０月３１日はハロウィンでしたね☆☆どんな日を過ごしましたか？日本ではハロウィンのグッズは売ってますが仮装したり、子供がキャンディーをもらいに家を訪ねることはありません。だからこれといって何もしません。みなさんの国では仮装するんですよね？何か仮装はしましたか？キャンディーをもらいにいくのは子供だけですか？
　学校のSuzanne先生の授業で、グループになって、トイレットペーパーを一人の体に速くまいていくゲームをやりました。難しかったけれど、楽しかったです。ハロウィンビンゴもやりました。楽しかったです。みなさんの学校でも何かハロウィンパーティーとかしましたか？
　あまり日本でハロウィンは大きい行事ではないので、ハロウィンに日本に訪ねても楽しくないかもしれません。外で仮装してる人もいないので、たぶんびっくりすると思います。家で仮装パーティーをしてる人はいるかもしれないです。
ハロウィンに一回、みなさんの国に行ってみたいです。来年のハロウィンは友達とみんなで、仮装したり、お菓子作ったりして、どこかで楽しみたいと思いまーす！！

Halloween!!!

This past Wednesday was Halloween, it was so much fun. My friend had just turned 21 so we decided to go to a bar called Harper's to celebrate. There were so many people there that were dressed up in costumes. I made my mask at home. I was suppose to look like this character named Billy, from the "Saw" movies. I'll post pictures soon. And I promise to make a blog post at least once a week from now on!! ^_^

日本でもハロウィンという日はよく知られています。ハロウィンのグッズが売られるし、飲食店などでは大きなカボチャやバルーンがあったり、店員さんは魔女の帽子をかぶってマントをつけたり、カボチャの帽子をかぶったりしています。ハロウィンにちなんだ期間限定のお菓子やケーキもあります。ハロウィンといえばカボチャなので、パンプキンプリンなどがあります。
私たちもtrich or treatという言葉を知っていて「お菓子をくれなきゃイタズラしちゃうぞ」と言います。ですが、実際に子ども達が仮装して、家を訪ね歩くかと言うとそんなことはありません。学校の行事などではあるのかもしれませんが、ハロウィンに仮装をしている人を外で見ることはありません。私も仮装をしたことはないし、我が家に子供がお菓子をもらいに来たこともありません。ただ、友達同士でハロウィンだからという理由でご飯を食べに行ったりする人たちもいます。
日本においてハロウィンはよく知られているだけで特別な日ではありません。
私は何もしずに過ごしました。家族内でも当日、ハロウィンの話題は出ませんでした。
ですが、授業でハロウィンのことを習ったり、私たちの先生であるSuzanneが授業中におもしろいハロウィンのゲームをしてくれて、楽しみました＾＾

Halloween

Hello All! This past weekend was Halloween. Although Halloween is not until October 31, many people, especially students, get dressed up and go out to parties on the weekend before. While Halloween is mainly known as a children's holiday, but young adults often attend parties in costumes. In college, because we are now too old to Trick or Treat, Halloween is just another excuse to drink with friends while wearing the most ridiculous costume possible. While children are still young, parents will make or purchase costumes for their children to wear and go our Trick or Treating. Trick or Treating is when children walk from house to house, knowing on the door, and when someone answers the door kids say, Trick or Treat and receive candy from the house. Many houses have many decorations to make the house look scary. Because there are no other times that so many people can dress weird and have a good time, please try to experience it at least once! Has anyone celebrated Halloween before?

門限

　こんにちは。みなさんは家族と一緒に暮らしていますか？日本では、地元と離れた学校へ行く学生は一人暮らしですが、家族と一緒に暮らしている学生が多いです。私も家族と一緒に暮らしています。私は門限があります。夜の１１時までに帰らなければいけません。高校生の時は１０時だったので、ゆるくなったほうですが、大学生になって門限がない家庭も増えてきています。みなさんは門限がありますか？私は末っ子のため、特に親には心配されます。だから、少し家に帰るのが遅くなっただけで、親はとても心配します。私は１０月に２０歳になりました。もう成人のため、いろいろなことに責任をもたなければならないことも知っています。でも親は門限をなくすことはしません。私はどうしても友達と考えたい問題があったとき、１１時という門限をこえてとても遅くに帰ってしまいました。親は怒り、門限やほかのことももっと厳しくなりそうです。心配してくれる気持ちはすごくうれしいですが、私を信頼して、もう少し考えてはくれないかなと悩んでいます。自立しなければいけない年なのにこのままでは親に頼ってしまうこともあり、自分が成長できない気がします。私がもっと態度で示すべきでしょうか。

誕生日

こんにちは。実は１０月１９日は私の誕生日でした。ついに２０歳になりました！ティーンエイジャーとお別れです。。でも、まだ２０歳という実感がありません。
誕生日には家族がお祝いをしてくれました。大阪に住んでいる姉も帰ってきて、みんなでパーティーをしました。大好きなメニューを用意してくれて、バースデーケーキもチョコレートケーキとミルクレープの２つを用意してくれました。でも、たくさん食べて、最後には気持ちが悪くなってしまいました。食べすぎですよね？？私は食べること・・特に甘いものが大好きで、毎日甘いものを食べています。朝から、ケーキやアイスクリームを食べることもあります。それなのに、運動が嫌いなので、気をつけないと簡単に太ってしまいます＞＜
プレゼントはまだほしいものを決めていないので、もらっていません。バッグが欲しいのですが、可愛いものをまだ見つけていないので、見つけたらおねだりするつもりです。
日本では２０歳からが大人とみなされて、お酒も飲めるようになるし、選挙にも行けるようになります。私はお酒好きではないので、２０歳になっても飲みません。政治については、まだまだわかりませんが、選挙には行こうと思っています。みなさんは、何歳からお酒が飲めて、選挙にも行けますか？
１９日になった０時に、このブログをやっているyoshikoとayumiがメールをくれました。日本では仲の良い友達の誕生日には０時になった瞬間にお誕生日おめでとう、というメールを送るのですが、みなさんはどうですか？
２０歳になったのを機に、ダイエットをちゃんとしようと思います。夏休みに留学をして太ってしまったので、体重を元に戻すのが目標です。そして、大人としての責任をしっかり感じて、立派な大人になりたいと思います。

アルバイト

みんなは、何かアルバイトをしていますか？
私はうなぎ屋さんでバイトをしています。
夏はうなぎが旬の時期なので、たくさんのお客さんが食べに来ました。
夏休みの土日は、毎週600人を超える人が来るので、本当に大変でした！！
たまにどれだけの人が待ってるか数えると、たいてい100人以上の人が待っていて、数えるだけで失神しそうになっちゃいました＾＾；

私のバイト先のメイン料理は「ひつまぶし」です。「ひつまぶし」を知ってますか？
ひつまぶしは、名古屋の名物料理でもあるので、地方の人や外国の方もたくさんみえます。
ひつまぶしは、普通のうなぎ料理とは違って、ちょっと変わった食べ方があります。

まず、おちゃわんに盛って、そのままの味を楽しみます。
その次に、ネギをのせて、ねぎのシャキシャキとした食感や味を一緒に楽しみます。
最後に、熱々のおだし汁をかけて、お茶漬けにしてたべます。
好みがあるので、人それぞれですが、これが一般的な食べ方です。
私はお茶漬けは苦手なので、よくわさびを使って食べます。
わさびのツーンとした香りと味が、うなぎの甘いタレとベストマッチだと思います！！

H, today, I discuss about name in the class, so Iwill talk about my name^^
My name is Hitomi Takeuchi. My lasat name is Takeuchi, and my first name is Hitomi.
Takeuchi mean is Samurai Inside, because Take's chinese charactor is 武. this mean is Samurai.
Uchi's chinese charactor is 内, means inside. And my first name 瞳(hitomi) means pupil(eye). When I was born, my eyes are so beautiful. My parents thought "very beautiful...we give her Hitomi."

hello. how are you?? today, I will talk about my hobby^^

well...i like listening to music. I have an i -pod and bring it to my school. I takes 1.5hour to go to school..so, I always listen music by i-pod on the train. but I don't have many songs in my i-pod..because , I am not sure how to use it..^^

I think Japanese music is good. The lyrics are really beautiful. So I like Japanese songs. I also like and listen to songs in English. Their sound is cool...and they helps to study English. I can learn English from these songs. I think it is very good to study English.

However, recently, I am interested in Korean musician^^ I don't speak Korean, so I can't understand what their lyrics....but they are handsome^^ I listen Korean songs more than English songs these days....not good...for study...^^

My Mom & I (Sara) in Times Square.

Hello everyone!
How was your weekend? I had a fun weekend. I went to New York City with my mom!
It was a surprise trip and I didn't know where we were going until we got to the airport. It was my first time there. I went to the NBC Studios, saw the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park, went to the World Trade Center Site, and saw the Broadway play "Avenue Q"!! The World Trade Center Site was very sad. It's also strange because there are tall buildings and then an empty space in the middle. I didn't go to Ellis Island for the Statue of Liberty because the ticket line was one hour long and the ferry line was two hours long!
The NBC Studios is in 30 Rockefeller Plaza and I went on the Studio tour. I saw the Saturday Night Live set, have you heard of SNL? It was a very small set! That was my favorite building to visit because my two favorite shows, "The Office" and "30 Rock", are on the NBC channel. Have you heard of these shows?

I recommend visiting New York at least once in your life! There is so much to do there. I bet that many New Yorkers (those who live there) have not even seen all the things the city has to offer!
