Hello every one... How are you?.. Yes the United States are very strict with drinking as well. If you go to a bar they always check for your age and if you are to young they draw an X on your hands to show that you are not allowed to drink. If you get caught drinking in the bar they will kick you out. Because if the bar is caught selling to a minor they will b fined a lot of money. And if you are caught drinking under age of 21 the police will write you a ticket and maybe take you to jail for the night. It is very strict in the US, but younger people often drink. It seems that all college parties have alcohol. It can be very dangerous if you drink too much, and some people die from over drinking. Since there are parties 3 days a week peopel are often talking about drinking. However there are more things to do than party and drink. Lately a lot of good movies are coming out ant I looking forward to going to the movies with my friends. What do you guys like to do? What is popular in Japan right now for college students?

I didn't know about X on your hands and jail! If people who under age of 21 drink, they have to go to jail!? It is so surprised to me!! Does it happen often? or just there is a rule?
But they can get out from jail after one night. What do they do after that? Police said about it to their parents and school? Do they pay fine?
There are parties 3 days a week!? So many!! You have to go?
I like shopping^^ Popular in Japanese students is.....I am not sure, but I think recently students like to read a novel. There are many movies that based on the novel. Many young people go to movie^^
There is a helpful saying here at Michigan State: BRAD (a common boy's name in America)

Hi, Colena! I'm fine. Drinking too much is a big problem, I know that, but recently, many young people who are banned to drink drink too much! Maybe, almost countries will be same. It's dangerous!
I didn't know that young people have to draw an X in bar. It is a good idea! Japan is also strict about people who mustn't drink, but many people drink! What should the police do?
In Japan, Shopping and watching movies are popular for students! I like them, too. In addition, many students like "Karaoke". People sing songs in Karaoke! It's really interesting! We can get away from stress!!
I don't know that Michigan State is so strict at drinking.
I think America don't care about drinking of young people.
I think X mark on our hands is a good idea!
Sometimes alcohols cause serious problems. Some people become crazy and trouble to someone.
I have been caught up in such a problem^^;
Now, I’m interested in studying abroad. I hope I that I go to study abroad next year.
So I must study English more and more!!
